Sr. Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to implement and maintain network security solutions across its industrial automation portfolio. The role supports the OT/IT convergence, ensuring the security of the CENTUM DCS environment and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain network security solutions following Yokogawa best‑practice guidelines.
• Test third‑party devices on the CENTUM DCS platform and perform system audits, health checks, preventive maintenance, patch and firmware updates.
• Provide 24 × 7 on‑call emergency support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and support their execution.
• Collaborate with multinational engineering teams and project managers on security‑related activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electronic or IT Engineering (master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in OT/IT security.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, ePO, WSUS, NAC, NMS and backup systems.
• MCSE, CCNA and CCNP certifications are mandatory.

Required skills

• Endpoint protection: McAfee ePO suite, VSE, ENS, Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEPM).
• Microsoft platform: Active Directory, Group Policy, system hardening, WSUS patch management.
• Backup & recovery: Acronis, Symantec Backup Exec, NetBackup, bare‑metal recovery, SAN and LTO tape library.
• Network security: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Juniper firewalls; switching & routing; monitoring with SolarWinds or WhatsUpGold.
• Network architecture design and implementation.
• Virtualization: VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, high‑availability configurations.
• Hardware platforms: HP, Dell, SAN, tape libraries.
• Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST guidelines, IEC/ISA 62443.
