Technical Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader (TTL) drives a software development team through full project lifecycles, ensuring high‑quality delivery that aligns with product and business goals. Acting as the bridge between developers and management, the TTL provides technical direction, coordinates cross‑functional efforts, and upholds process standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development team, participate in architecture discussions, and finalize technology choices.
• Estimate tasks, set timelines, and track progress against sprint cycles.
• Review and approve code, enforce feature/branch freezes, and conduct personal testing to guarantee release readiness.
• Monitor KPIs such as code quality, test coverage, bug ratios, and hot‑fix rework rates.
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, UI/UX, QA, and services teams to clarify requirements and manage risks.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals, and maintain team motivation.
• Ensure compliance with internal staging, release policies, security standards, and documentation practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to estimate work, meet delivery targets, and manage cross‑functional communication.

Required skills

• Microsoft .NET Framework (C# or VB.NET)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, XML, Web Services, Web APIs
• Strong grasp of OOP, SDLC, and architectural patterns
• Advanced database expertise with MS SQL Server or Oracle, including stored procedures and ER diagrams
