AI Architect Manager – Engineering AI & Data

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced AI Architect at Manager level to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise‑grade AI solutions for its clients. This client‑facing position combines deep technical expertise with strategic advisory responsibilities, driving measurable business impact across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor on emerging AI trends such as generative AI, agentic AI, decision intelligence, industrial AI, and digital twins.
• Define and document enterprise‑scale AI architectures, including LLM‑based solutions, MLOps pipelines, agent orchestration, and integration with platforms like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Establish best practices for AI trust, risk, governance, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPL, NDMO).
• Provide architectural leadership across cloud AI infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure) and edge/on‑device AI deployments.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI programs from proof‑of‑concept to production scaling.
• Industrialise AI assets into reusable accelerators and firm‑wide intellectual property.
• Mentor and develop AI architects, engineers, and consultants, and contribute to practice growth through proposals and thought leadership.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of professional experience in AI, data engineering, or related fields.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale AI solutions for enterprise clients.
• Strong communication skills to advise senior stakeholders and represent the firm at industry events.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive practice development.
