Telemarketing Agent

About the role

The Telemarketing Agent is responsible for contacting prospective or existing clients by phone to promote products, services, or schedule appointments while meeting performance targets. The role involves both outbound and inbound calling, lead generation, and maintaining accurate customer records.

Key responsibilities

• Outbound & Inbound Calling: Call potential customers using designated lists to pitch services, explain features, and handle incoming customer inquiries.
• Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify prospective clients, assess their needs, and qualify leads before handing them over to the direct sales team.
• Script & Protocol Adherence: Follow approved company scripts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and privacy guidelines during every call.
• Data Management: Record accurate customer information, update interaction notes, and maintain clean database records in CRM systems.
• Follow-Ups: Contact leads who requested callbacks, missed appointments, or need further assistance to secure a conversion.
• Target Achievement: Meet individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as daily call volume, conversion rates, or consultation bookings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
