Account Director

About the role

We are hiring an Account Director in Jordan. The position combines new‑business hunting with building and maintaining client relationships, while also leading the local delivery team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Jordan revenue target, develop a plan and execute it end‑to‑end.
• Open new accounts with marketing, trade‑marketing, procurement and retail decision‑makers.
• Manage the exhibition calendar early, coordinating with organisers, exhibitors, agencies, architects and consultants.
• Run the full sales cycle from the first meeting to a signed contract.
• Grow existing accounts, as most growth comes from current clients.
• Build and lead the local team – hire, train and manage staff as the business scales.
• Price proposals correctly and protect profit margins.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of sales experience in Jordan with a proven network.
• Background in exhibitions, events, retail fit‑out, POSM or production.
• Proactive business creator rather than a brief‑waiter.
• Strong understanding of margin management, not just revenue.
• Ready to manage and develop people, not just work alone.
