Accountant

About the role

FastRabbit, an IT service management firm operating in Jordan and Dubai, is hiring an Accountant for its Amman office. The role manages day-to-day financial operations and works closely with management to provide financial analysis and reporting that supports business decisions. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
• Prepare and review financial statements and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and keep financial records accurate.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are an advantage.
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in the IT or services sector.
• Knowledge of local tax laws, financial regulations and compliance requirements in Jordan.
• Ability to analyse financial data, prepare reports and manage multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Bookkeeping, general ledger management and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork.
