Associate - Risk Management (Engagement Compliance Reviews)

About the role

PwC is hiring an Associate in its Risk Management practice within Internal Firm Services, based in Amman. The role focuses on Engagement Compliance Reviews (ECRs): reviewing client work against guidance and standards, supporting the ECR Lead with tracking and reporting, and helping improve the ECR process and related guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out ECR reviews in line with provided guidance and standards, identify gaps in information and complete the assessment checklist
• Review Save It Workspaces and other documentation provided by engagement teams, and interact with client-facing teams or ECR facilitators to resolve queries
• Track and report on the status and progress of reviews, and respond to queries raised by the ECR Lead
• Provide feedback on areas for improvement in the ECR process, especially digital enhancements
• Support reporting to various audiences, including dashboards and reports
• Help prepare or update guidance, training materials and communications on ECRs for internal and line of service staff
• Take part in R&Q activities and new initiatives, and suggest improvements to R&Q policies and processes
• Participate in ad hoc projects assigned by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Required profile

• Professional or academic qualification (degree level or equivalent), or relevant practical experience
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
• 1.5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in the Professional Services industry in a top-tier Big 4 firm preferred
• Risk compliance or broader risk management experience preferred
• Use of data analytics and data visualisation tools such as Power BI preferred
• Government clearance required; work visa sponsorship is not offered
