ASP.NET Developer – FMIS Project (7‑month contract)

About the role

UNRWA is seeking an experienced ASP.NET Developer to support the implementation and delivery of its Financial Management Information System (FMIS) project. The consultant will work on‑site in Amman, building and maintaining key application modules while ensuring high‑quality documentation and smooth deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain FMIS modules using ASP.NET/.NET Core and related Microsoft technologies.
• Create and manage organizational hierarchy, premises, projects, dashboards, reporting, and GIS‑related components.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Provide daily technical support, analyse business requirements, and conduct bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Review code for security, performance, and compliance with UNRWA standards.
• Support deployment, UAT, production releases and post‑go‑live stabilisation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides and user manuals.
• Deliver regular progress updates and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in web application development with ASP.NET/.NET Core and MS SQL Server.
• Proven experience in enterprise application development, API creation and system integrations.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
