Assistant Manager / Manager - Enterprise Technology & Shared Services

About the role

EY's Business Consulting team is hiring an Assistant Manager / Manager for its Enterprise Technology & Shared Services - Operational Excellence role in Jordan. You will work within a client-facing Strategic Operations Office and lead a workstream covering enterprise technology, shared services and corporate support function enablement. The role is secondment-style, with frequent travel including extended stays at client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a defined workstream, setting objectives, deliverables, milestones, governance and stakeholder responsibilities
• Assess current technology and operating environments and identify improvements in processes, systems, data, governance and service delivery
• Support digital strategy, technology enablement, shared services and business process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate business and technology stakeholders to turn operational needs into requirements, roadmaps and implementation plans
• Evaluate enterprise applications and platforms, including ERP, supply chain management, data, reporting, workflow and automation
• Help design shared services operating models, service catalogues, governance, performance measures and service-management processes
• Contribute to data management, reporting, data governance, analytics and decision support
• Assess IT operating models, technology governance, service management, architecture, security and delivery dependencies
• Prepare analyses, decision papers, roadmaps, status reports, dashboards, governance materials and executive presentations
• Manage workstream risks, issues, dependencies and escalations, and run workshops with corporate functions, technology and data teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, finance, supply chain or a related field
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in enterprise technology, shared services, digital transformation, technology enablement, business process improvement or consulting
• Experience with ERP, supply chain systems, enterprise applications, data and digital platforms, and shared services operating models
• Experience leading or coordinating a workstream and working with business and technology stakeholders
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay at client locations for extended periods

Required skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with enterprise reporting, workflow or visualization tools preferred
• English; Arabic is an advantage
• Nice to have: exposure to shared service functions, ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, data governance, analytics, cybersecurity, AI, and experience in utilities, infrastructure, government or consulting secondments
