About the role
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the restaurant team in delivering excellent guest experiences while ensuring smooth daily operations at the Marriott property in Aqaba.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff to ensure teamwork, optimal service, and guest satisfaction.
- Inspect staff grooming, attire, and address any deficiencies.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Maintain storage organization using FIFO, conduct inventories, and requisition supplies.
- Monitor dining room seating, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
- Enforce company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
