Assistant Spa Manager

About the role

The Assistant Spa Manager supports daily spa operations at a Marriott International property in Amman. This role ensures smooth guest experiences, assists with staff coordination, and upholds the brand’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guests with accurate information about services, amenities, and treatment schedules.
• Confirm guest names and treatment details before each session and monitor the daily schedule.
• Communicate last‑minute changes to providers and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services as well as retail products.
• Process requisitions for supplies, equipment, and inventory needs.
• Inspect work areas and equipment for compliance with company standards; report maintenance issues to Engineering.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and provide courteous service, including assistance for guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant spa or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 10 lb, and perform other physical tasks associated with spa operations.
