Assistant Venue Manager

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for an Assistant Venue Manager in Amman. The role leads the F&B outlet team and ensures service standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service consistently.
• Lead the F&B outlet team in all aspects of the department and make sure service standards are followed.
• Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Help recruit and train outlet colleagues.
• Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs and attend regular departmental meetings.
• Work with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed strategies, practices and promotions, and maximize revenues.
• Know all outlet menus and follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Help with other F&B functions and tasks, and cover for absent team members.

Required profile

• Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience.
• Previous point of sale system experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, reliability and responsibility.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to stay calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications.
