Associate – Audit & Assurance (External Audit) – Amman

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team in Amman, focusing on external audit engagements. You will work closely with senior auditors and client stakeholders to deliver high‑quality audit services while developing a deep understanding of regulatory and risk environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations and delivering tailored audit solutions.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulation, risk management, and business processes.
• Adapt template referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate findings across the audit file.
• Link risks, controls, procedures, and findings in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
