AutoCAD Draftsman – Engineering Projects

About the role

Join Haskoning as an AutoCAD Draftsman supporting critical infrastructure projects for the Arab Potash Corporation in the Dead Sea area. You will work within a multidisciplinary design team to produce and maintain architectural, structural, civil and earthworks drawings throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural, structural and earthworks drawings from concept through detailed design and construction stages.
• Develop and manage drawing registers, revision control and document management records.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary drawings, resolve design clashes and ensure consistency across disciplines.
• Review contractors’ shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Prepare submission packages and support approval processes.
• Provide input for quantity take‑offs and support cost estimation activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, drafting technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience working with AutoCAD (and preferably Civil 3D) in an EPC or consultancy environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and time‑management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with engineering drafting standards and construction documentation.
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
