Banquet Waiter

About the role

Join our Guest Service team as a Banquet Waiter, delivering memorable dining experiences for guests at our luxury property in Amman. You will be the front‑line ambassador, ensuring every banquet service runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet tables, chairs, linens, and service stations according to event specifications.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, attend to guest needs, and maintain a polished appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and ensure all equipment is properly stored.
• Handle menu items, verify orders, and manage guest transactions as part of the overall experience.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, walking on varied surfaces, and lifting items up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience in food and beverage service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
