Business Development Officer

About the role

MFW is seeking a Business Development Officer to join its Strategy & Business Development team in Jordan. The successful candidate will help turn ideas into funded, high‑impact initiatives by crafting compelling proposals, scouting funding opportunities, and building strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and support business development and fundraising initiatives.
• Scout, analyze, and monitor grant and funding opportunities.
• Draft persuasive proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on strategic projects.
• Assist in smooth project implementation and reporting cycles.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑driven, and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Exposure to development finance or micro‑finance is a plus.
