Business Systems Intern – Technology & Digital Innovation

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate to join our Technology & Digital Innovation Department for a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. The role offers hands‑on experience developing and supporting business systems that power sales and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and sales requirements and help translate them into system features across platforms such as K2 BPM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, CAD and internal applications.
• Participate in development, testing and deployment of features using .NET, SQL and React, ensuring quality and performance.
• Support workflow automation by configuring, developing or troubleshooting the K2 BPM system or future workflow platforms.
• Maintain and debug backend processes and job schedulers like Hangfire to keep background tasks reliable.
• Troubleshoot relational database issues in SQL Server or Oracle, including stored procedures and queries.
• Collaborate with vendors to report issues and ensure solutions align with internal requirements.
• Provide system support and training to internal users.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related IT field.
