About the role
The Buyer is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring that internal customer needs are met with the best value, quality and delivery timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase requests in line with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and compile supplier bid lists based on internal requirements.
- Evaluate financial proposals, negotiate with vendors and select the most advantageous purchase packages.
- Formulate purchase recommendations and issue purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all bids and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and resolve any material or service non‑conformance claims.
Required profile
- University degree, preferably in IT, management, industrial engineering or a related field.
- 2‑3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Strong negotiation, time‑management and learning abilities.
