About the role
The Captain ensures smooth operation of all hotel Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, lounges and beverage service areas, while maintaining high service standards and team morale.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets and coordinate requirements for hotel events and functions.
- Schedule staff, report hours, and input rosters into the system, ensuring accurate billing for groups and guests.
- Participate in training, coaching, and the Manager on Duty program for restaurant operations.
- Promote health & safety, environmental sustainability and compliance with hotel policies.
Required profile
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a four‑diamond hotel restaurant or lounge.
- Two years of progressive experience in a high‑volume hotel restaurant or lounge.
- Strong leadership, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
Required skills
- Thorough knowledge of hotel food & beverage operations.
- Experience with Opera or a related property management system.
