Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join the maintenance team of a leading hotel brand. The successful candidate will carry out all carpentry and related tasks, ensuring high‑quality workmanship while supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute carpentry projects and preventive‑maintenance repairs.
• Maintain daily checklists, stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements in methods, systems and procedures.
• Adhere to fire, hygiene, health and safety policies and hotel grooming standards.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff and promote a calm team atmosphere.
• Attend departmental briefings and stay informed about hotel activities.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in carpentry or wood‑working within a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and stock control.
