Civil 3D Modeler – Infrastructure

About the role

The Civil 3D & CAD Technician will support the design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, storm‑water systems and land development. Working closely with engineers and project managers, you will create detailed 3‑D models, design layouts and construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 3‑D models and design drawings for roads, water systems, storm‑water drainage and land development.
• Develop construction plans, sections and details for grading, earthworks and utility layouts.
• Assist engineers in preliminary and detailed design layout development.
• Perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts between infrastructure elements.
• Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with local and national standards.
• Update drawings based on design reviews and engineer comments.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Design and Drafting or a related field.
• Relevant experience with civil infrastructure design and drafting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong CAD drafting abilities.
• Experience with clash detection and resolution.
• Knowledge of grading, earthworks and utility layout design.
