Commercial Accounting Manager

About the role

CFI Financial Group, an award-winning online trading provider with offices in London, Larnaca, Beirut, Amman, Dubai and Port Louis, is hiring a Commercial Accounting Manager. The role covers daily and monthly reconciliations across entities, revenue recognition, regulatory reporting and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Daily bank statement reconciliations for all assigned entities, matching bank transactions to the ERP ledger and investigating unmatched items
• Daily PSP account reconciliations, matching settlement files to client deposits and withdrawals, and investigating failed transactions, reversals and chargebacks
• Daily client equity reconciliation, verifying platform equity against ERP liabilities and escalating discrepancies
• Maintain a live break register for all open items and define, maintain and enforce revenue recognition policies under IFRS 15
• Review monthly LP P&L statements and ensure platform-to-GL revenue completeness daily
• Prepare and reconcile daily client money segregation reporting
• Monthly close: review month-end reconciliations, journals (bank charges, FX revaluation, accruals, provisions, PSP adjustments), prepare balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation packs, and support month-end close by D+3
• Prepare monthly regulatory reporting work papers and monthly VAT work papers
• Maintain version-controlled reconciliation working papers, prepare schedules for external auditors and follow SOPs
• Help resolve complex breaks, assist with regulatory submissions (SCA, CMA) and take part in system implementation or process improvement projects

Required profile

• Experience in accounting and reconciliation, including month-end close and regulatory reporting
• Ability to work with multiple entities and currencies
