Consultant/Senior Consultant – Financial Services GRC

About the role

We are looking for a high‑performing Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services solution team, focusing on Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) engagements for banks, insurers, investment firms and fintechs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex client engagements, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Oversee engagement economics, including budgeting, billing, margin monitoring and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk management procedures and advisory quality standards across Internal Audit, ICOFR, ERM, Corporate Governance and Quality Assurance reviews.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Financial Services regulatory frameworks (CBUAE, DFSA, ADGM, IFRS, Basel) and share insights with teams.
• Drive business development activities such as proposal writing, pricing discussions and client presentations, and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to improve service delivery through digital transformation, work‑paper standardisation, automation and analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification(s) such as CIA, CA, ACCA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, BCM or CCGP (mandatory or in progress).
• 4‑6 years of experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance or Internal Audit Quality Assurance, preferably within consulting firms or financial institutions.
• Strong exposure to Financial Services regulatory environment and proven ability to manage 3‑5 engagements concurrently.
• Commercial awareness and strong written and verbal communication skills.
