Data Engineering Expert

About the role

Orange Jordan is looking for a Data Engineering Expert to design, build and maintain large‑scale data platforms that support the company’s analytics and digital initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists and business teams to ensure data is reliable, secure and readily available.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain databases and big‑data processing systems.
• Build massive data reservoirs and ensure high‑performance data ingestion pipelines.
• Create logical data models and map source‑to‑target data flows.
• Guarantee data accessibility, auditability, legal compliance and security.
• Support data scientists by preparing and processing required data sets.
• Participate in selecting tools for reporting and analytics.
• Stay aware of related digital technologies such as mobile development, RPA and web development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MIS.
• 5‑7 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proven ability to assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Experience with highly available, distributed data extraction, ingestion and processing systems.
• 1‑3 years of experience in mobile core network support and operations.
