Deputy Country Representative – OPT (Amman)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Deputy Country Representative to lead its OPT programmes from Amman, Jordan. Reporting to the Country Representative, the role combines strategic oversight, programme coordination and field travel to the occupied Palestinian territories, including Gaza.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Country Representative in managing and implementing IMPACT’s humanitarian programmes in the OPT region.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and organisational standards.
• Oversee data collection, management and analysis, including GIS and remote‑sensing components.
• Facilitate travel and logistics for field missions in the OPT and Gaza.
• Represent IMPACT in meetings with partners, donors and local authorities.
• Prepare regular reports on programme progress, risks and outcomes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in humanitarian programme management, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to work in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to the OPT, including high‑risk areas.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
