Design & Technology & Art Instructor

About the role

The Design & Technology and Art Instructor will join Amman Academy, an IB World School, to deliver high‑quality DT and Art lessons to students aged 3‑19. The role involves creating engaging, bilingual learning experiences that align with the International Baccalaureate framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess DT and Art curriculum in line with IB standards.
• Prepare lesson materials, demonstrations and project briefs for each class.
• Conduct subject‑specific assessments and demo classes as part of the recruitment process.
• Participate in multiple interview stages and written assessments for faculty selection.
• Uphold the school’s values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline and educational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous experience and knowledge of the IB system.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of IB curriculum requirements.
• Ability to teach DT and Art concepts bilingually (English and Arabic preferred).
• Experience designing project‑based learning activities.
