DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our professional services team. The role involves delivering modern, state‑of‑the‑art solutions for customers, from concept through to production, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement application software architecture following best practices.
• Install, upgrade, and configure application software across various environments.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for application performance issues.
• Document operational procedures, guides, and best‑practice documentation.
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve solutions.

Required profile

• Ability to solve problems under pressure and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Self‑motivated, fast learner, and passionate about new technologies.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required skills

• Linux and AIX operating systems.
• IBM product knowledge.
• DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Containerization, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with databases, networking, and web/application servers.
• Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
