About the role
We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our professional services team. The role involves delivering modern, state‑of‑the‑art solutions for customers, from concept through to production, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement application software architecture following best practices.
- Install, upgrade, and configure application software across various environments.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for application performance issues.
- Document operational procedures, guides, and best‑practice documentation.
- Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve solutions.
Required profile
- Ability to solve problems under pressure and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Self‑motivated, fast learner, and passionate about new technologies.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Required skills
- Linux and AIX operating systems.
- IBM product knowledge.
- DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Containerization, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience with databases, networking, and web/application servers.
- Scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
