Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will support IT project management activities at the Joint Training Center in Amman, overseeing all phases of large‑scale defense projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional support for unit‑level IT project management, ensuring all project aspects are coordinated.
• Lead teams on large or complex projects, delivering milestones on schedule.
• Collaborate with support personnel and communicate project status to government leadership.
• Produce clear documentation and technical writing for project deliverables.
• Utilize computer‑based project management tools to track progress and resources.

Required profile

• Active US Government Secret clearance (interim acceptable) and US citizenship.
• DoD 8140‑approved certification such as Security+.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in design and development.
• At least 5 years of management/supervisory experience overseeing military hardware and software projects.
• Minimum 5 years of systems analysis experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% in support of the mission.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management, or equivalent experience.
