Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatcher will coordinate daily transportation operations for Nebo Rides, ensuring trips are assigned, drivers are scheduled, and vehicle usage is optimized to meet customer demand. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Amman and requires real‑time monitoring of ride status and effective communication with drivers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assign trips and schedule drivers using the dispatch system.
• Monitor ride progress, handle changes or delays, and update records promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Resolve service issues, escalating urgent matters when necessary.
• Prepare basic reports and maintain logs to support safety and service standards.

Required profile

• Strong coordination, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or operations education is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dispatch, scheduling or booking software.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets and data entry.
