D&T Associate Manager - Planner

About the role

The D&T Associate Manager – Planner will support Aramex’s technology portfolio by driving planning, demand visibility, and delivery governance across multiple initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures alignment of timelines, resources, and financials to enable efficient execution of projects and business‑as‑usual activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain portfolio‑level plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource views, and collaborate with project managers to keep them current.
• Consolidate demand data (new, change, ongoing) to provide a single view of pipeline, support prioritisation and capacity planning discussions.
• Track delivery status, go‑live readiness and update trackers, ensuring accurate reporting to governance forums such as the Delivery Review Board.
• Identify and monitor dependencies and risks across projects, facilitating early visibility and mitigation.
• Support financial tracking of CAPEX, purchase requests and resource spend, aligning budgets with delivery plans.
• Prepare leadership reports, dashboards and portfolio summaries for CDTO and executive audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technology planning, PMO or service delivery, with at least 3 years in a senior planning or portfolio coordination role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders and global teams.
• Experience preparing executive presentations, governance packs and financial forecasts.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or Agile are preferred.
