Duty Engineer – Facility Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Duty Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities. The role ensures all equipment functions correctly, responds to emergencies, and leads a team of technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, diagnosing root causes and implementing solutions.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with external vendors as needed.
• Supervise and guide technicians and other maintenance staff, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and internal protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Duty Engineer or in a similar maintenance engineering role.
• Degree or certification in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Leadership experience managing a technical team.
• Effective communication skills.
