Electrical BIM Coordinator

About the role

The Electrical BIM Coordinator will join Advanced Works Design’s engineering team in Amman, working full‑time on‑site. You will be responsible for creating, coordinating and maintaining electrical BIM models that align with architectural and MEP disciplines across a variety of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural and MEP design documents to extract electrical requirements.
• Develop and update detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and related tools.
• Identify and resolve model clashes through Navisworks clash detection.
• Incorporate design changes promptly to keep models current.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation for project teams.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and project managers to ensure modeling standards and data integrity.
• Support overall project delivery by coordinating multidisciplinary BIM workflows.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Architecture or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of Architecture and Mechanical‑Electrical‑Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Experience in project coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit for electrical modeling.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
• Solid BIM coordination and Building Information Modeling expertise.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to electrical and MEP design.
