Electrical BIM Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical BIM Engineer to join our construction team, responsible for creating and managing BIM models of electrical systems for building projects. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate design integration and clash‑free models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models for power distribution, lighting, and low‑current systems using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines to resolve conflicts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documents to translate requirements into BIM data.
• Support on‑site teams by providing BIM information and assisting with design queries.
• Maintain compliance with relevant codes, standards and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical BIM or electrical design for building projects.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience on international or large‑scale projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Knowledge of electrical systems in the built environment (power distribution, lighting, low‑current).
• Experience with coordination, clash detection and multidisciplinary BIM workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
