Enterprise Architect – Technology Consulting (Amman)

About the role

As an Enterprise Architect in EY’s Technology Consulting practice, you will partner with government, public‑sector and large enterprise clients across the Middle East to shape and execute architecture strategies that drive digital transformation and business performance. Based in Amman, you will work on cross‑border projects, providing both remote and onsite expertise as required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture assessments and enterprise‑wide engagements for major transformation programmes.
• Translate client business strategy into technology vision, defining target‑state architectures and roadmaps.
• Develop business, application, data, technology and security architecture artefacts, including capability models, reference architectures and solution blueprints.
• Establish and support architecture governance processes, including Architecture Review Boards.
• Conduct solution assurance, compliance assessments and technology evaluations, delivering recommendations on platforms and vendor solutions.
• Analyse application portfolios, identify dependencies and assess migration feasibility.
• Facilitate workshops with senior business and technology leaders and contribute to proposals and thought‑leadership activities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as an Enterprise, Solution or Technology Architect, preferably within large‑scale transformation projects.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders in government or enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a track record of delivering architecture artefacts and governance frameworks.
• Willingness to travel within the MENA region and work both onsite and remotely.
