Experienced Associate/Senior – Audit & Assurance (ARA)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate or Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance – Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in Jordan. You will work on client proposals, oversee day‑to‑day engagement activities and collaborate closely with teams to solve complex accounting and reporting challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, timely client service and build lasting relationships.
• Conduct in‑depth IFRS research on complex transactions, acquisitions and abnormal events.
• Perform financial statement reviews, accounting policy assessments and IFRS impact analyses.
• Support engagement managers in planning, execution and delivery of advisory projects.
• Assist clients with internal‑control design, implementation, testing and remediation.
• Apply AI tools in audit contexts, including prompt engineering and validation of AI‑generated outputs.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of public‑audit and accounting experience, preferably with a Big‑Four firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving ability and capacity to manage multiple assignments.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply it to complex accounting issues.
• Experience with AI applications in audit, including prompt engineering and result validation.
• Proficiency in internal‑control frameworks and testing methodologies.
