Experienced Audit Associate – External Audit (JRC)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team, focusing on external audit engagements for the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) serving the Qatar market. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, liaising with on‑shore and off‑shore teams, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and delivering high‑quality audit work.
• Adapt template referral instructions, define audit scope, and coordinate with Centres of Excellence.
• Track deliverables from component auditors, link risks, controls, and findings across the audit file.
• Prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions and distinguish accounting from auditing judgments.
• Develop relationships beyond finance to enhance professional scepticism and business understanding.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of public audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• International accounting qualification desired (CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
• Ability to travel to Qatar when needed.
