Expert Mendix Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Expert Mendix Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of low‑code platforms for customer‑centric industries such as utilities, financial services, logistics, and commerce. You will work closely with architects, product owners, analysts, and support teams to translate business requirements into robust Mendix solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the full software lifecycle: design, coding, UI development, testing, installation, and support.
• Collaborate with architects to create and update technical specifications and documentation.
• Model processes in Mendix based on business analyst requirements and produce effort estimates.
• Review and validate effort estimates and design artifacts from team members.
• Develop reusable Mendix components and custom widgets for organization‑wide use.
• Integrate Mendix applications with third‑party systems and support production issue resolution.
• Guide and mentor Mendix, Java, UI, and mobile developers, acting as a technical coach.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept and prototyping initiatives and contribute to technical proposals.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise‑grade Mendix solutions.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to translate business processes into technical designs.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
