Finance and Management Services Officer – Jordan

About the role

The Finance and Management Services Officer will lead, coordinate and oversee finance and management services for the WFP Country Office in Jordan. The role ensures efficient service delivery, strong financial stewardship and compliance with WFP regulations while supporting programme implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate finance and management services in line with WFP policies, procedures and corporate systems.
• Conduct financial assessment and due diligence of service providers, including FSPs, retailers and other contracted entities.
• Contribute to the development of country‑specific plans and processes aligned with organisational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with WFP regulations and provide effective support to programme teams.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in finance and management services, preferably within a humanitarian or development context.
• Knowledge of WFP policies, procedures and corporate financial systems.
• Ability to lead assessments, coordinate teams and support programme implementation.
