Front Desk Agent – Receptionist

About the role

The Front Desk Agent / Receptionist provides a warm, professional, and efficient welcome to all guests, ensuring smooth and personalized check‑in and check‑out experiences while supporting overall hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Process room assignments, registrations, check‑ins, check‑outs, and room changes according to hotel procedures.
• Accurately enter and maintain guest information in the Property Management System.
• Verify guest identification and registration details in line with hotel policies and regulations.
• Process cash and credit‑card transactions, ensuring proper documentation and accurate posting of charges.
• Monitor guest accounts, report discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of room status and Front Office transactions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all Front Office cash‑handling and security procedures and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
