Front Desk Receptionist – Healthcare

About the role

We are looking for a professional, presentable, and customer‑focused Receptionist to join our team at Sharif Eye Centers in Amman. This full‑time, on‑site position serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a five‑star hospitality experience in a medical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries, providing accurate information.
• Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth front‑desk operations.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Previous experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, or a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Professional, well‑presented appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to create a welcoming environment.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and patient coordination.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally over the phone and in person.
• Good computer and typing skills with high attention to accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Positive attitude and effective teamwork skills.
