About the role
Em Sherif Café in Amman is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Lebanese and Middle Eastern dishes while maintaining the café’s reputation for excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and manage the kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee food preparation, mise‑en‑place and service to guarantee consistent quality, presentation and taste.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food‑safety standards and an organized kitchen environment.
- Control food costs, monitor waste, manage inventory and ensure efficient stock rotation.
- Develop menus, innovate dishes and ensure compliance with Em Sherif Café’s culinary standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably in high‑end restaurant settings.
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Deep knowledge of Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment.
- Professional, organized and hands‑on approach.
