Head of People Operations

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a senior leader to head its global People Operations function. Reporting to the Director of People Services, this role will oversee all transactional HR activities and ensure a seamless employee experience across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the People Operations team to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused HR services worldwide.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, off‑boarding, contractual changes and records management.
• Maintain data accuracy and governance across HRIS platforms, acting as the trusted source of people data.
• Monitor and analyse service metrics and KPIs, driving continuous improvement and compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers and local teams, providing guidance and directing queries to appropriate resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multiple HR teams with at least 13 direct/indirect reports.
• Unrestricted right to work in the chosen location for the duration of employment.
• Strong understanding of global HR processes, data governance and service‑level agreements.
