Hostess – Guest Service Role

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to welcome guests at our luxury hotel in Amman. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, available tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any required items.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures throughout the shift.
• Monitor dining room for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and provide clear, professional communication.
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
• Assist with moving and arranging tables and chairs for groups with special needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
