About the role
The Host/Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests at our hotel restaurant in Aqaba. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, manage seating, and support smooth dining operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any other required items.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Follow company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
- Maintain a professional appearance, uphold confidentiality, and protect company assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
- Clear, professional communication skills and ability to answer phones courteously.
