Hotel Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Hotel Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by building and nurturing relationships with individual and corporate clients. You will lead the sales team in achieving personal and collective targets while representing the property at key industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a client base across individuals, organizations, travel agencies, airlines and wholesalers.
• Prospect, qualify and convert new business opportunities through both inside and outside selling.
• Negotiate room rates, meeting‑room rentals, function space and ancillary services within approved guidelines.
• Prepare, review and manage sales contracts, rate agreements and banquet/catering orders.
• Handle inquiry calls, produce client proposals, and keep client files up‑to‑date.
• Generate monthly sales reports, forecasts and performance analyses.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, conventions and sales trips to feeder markets.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Organise site inspections, special events and off‑site presentations for prospects.
• Follow up with guests post‑stay to secure repeat business.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of sales or marketing experience in a 5‑star hotel environment, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
