HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC/R equipment.
• Execute scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhauls on systems and components.
• Conduct planning activities and facility surveys.
• Manage HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• Section 608 (Universal) CFC/EPA certification.
• Formal HVAC/R training (military technical school, vocational college, or four‑year apprenticeship).
• Four years of practical HVAC/R experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. CENTCOM Medical Exam.
