Industrial Electrical Engineer / Technician

About the role

Lacrima, a leading dairy producer in Jordan, is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer or Technician to join its Maintenance Engineering team. The role focuses on maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and safety of highly automated cheese production and packaging lines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency electrical maintenance on production and utility lines.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex electrical faults on automated dairy processing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Maintain, program, and troubleshoot classic and advanced control systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and automated sensors.
• Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to drive continuous operational improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing, dairy, or FMCG plants is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities for fast‑paced mechanical‑electrical troubleshooting on live production lines.
