Installation Engineer – Robotic Solar Cleaning Systems

About the role

We are looking for an Installation Engineer to lead the installation and commissioning of our robotic solar‑panel cleaning systems. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest technical standards while acting as the main technical liaison on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise all installation activities according to project specifications.
• Lead site teams and coordinate contractors throughout the execution phase.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, layouts and installation requirements.
• Perform system testing, commissioning and functional verification.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered on‑site.
• Monitor progress to guarantee adherence to project timelines and quality‑safety standards.
• Communicate with clients and internal departments to address site‑specific needs.
• Prepare detailed installation, commissioning and progress reports and support hand‑over to the operations team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or related technical projects.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, solar, robotics or electromechanical environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, installation procedures, testing and troubleshooting.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
