Interior Design Sales Consultant

About the role

AlEsraa, a professional services company based in Amman, Jordan, is hiring for a full-time, on-site Interior Design Sales position. The person in this role works directly with clients to understand their interior design needs, present suitable furniture and design solutions, and guide them through selection and purchase.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct showroom or site visits and prepare design and space planning proposals.
• Create mood boards or simple layouts and coordinate product details such as materials, colours and finishes.
• Handle inquiries, provide professional customer service, prepare quotations and follow up on leads.
• Meet sales targets and collaborate with designers, suppliers and operations teams so orders are placed accurately and delivered on time.

Required profile

• Previous experience in interior design, furniture sales or a related field is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business or a related discipline is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and sales targets.

Required skills

• Interior design and space planning skills for residential or commercial spaces.
• Sales and furniture expertise, including presenting products and handling negotiations.
• Customer service skills and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Basic proficiency in design tools or software (e.g. SketchUp, AutoCAD) is an advantage.
